Nutrition – what is it good for?
Your body is supposedly your “temple” – you have to live in it, use it, and you have to feed it and keep it hydrated. What you feed it actually matters. Garbage in, garbage out. The body will cope with a lot, but eventually it will say ENOUGH. Things will start going wrong.
I know it can be confusing. It’s also really easy to grab a burger, fries, chocolate and a can of soft drink. So, what fuel are you putting into your engine? It’s your choice, mate.
Nutrition can make a huge difference to your health, wellbeing and mental health (not just how good you look). My aim is to help blokes make better choices and understand why they need to make those choices. Not going to extremes of dieting, but finding that middle road that meets your needs and sticking with it to the best of your ability.
Ongoing research shows there are links between your diet and certain diseases (including prostate issues). For instance, Asian men living in Asia and eating the prevailing Asian diet have less likelihood of developing prostate cancer. However, move those Asian men to a Western country and change their diet to a common Western diet, they will be more likely to develop prostate cancer.
My blog will include information that I find about nutrition and nutritional research regarding men’s health. I’ll include links for you to read more detail and make your own mind up. Remember, it’s YOUR choice. Because no-one else can do it for you.
